Psychedelic Preparation and Integration
I offer psychedelic preparation and integration as part of my therapy practice: support before and after an experience, whether that’s a retreat, a ceremony, a clinical session, or something more personal. I don’t administer or supply any substances myself. This is the conversation and support that sits either side of that work, not the work itself.
What preparation involves
Before an experience, preparation is about getting clear – what you’re hoping for, what you’re anxious about, what’s realistic and what isn’t. We look at your history, your current life, and the support you’ll have around you afterwards. If there’s anything in your background that needs particular care, we talk about that honestly, before you’re in the room.
What integration involves
Integration is what happens after. Experiences like this can surface things quickly: memories, emotions, insights, sometimes confusion. Integration is the slower work of making sense of what came up, and finding out what, if anything, actually changes because of it. Some people need a session or two. Others come back to it for months. There’s no fixed timeline.
Not every experience is expansive or easy. Some are disorienting, or leave you with more questions than answers. That’s a reason to want integration support, not a sign that something went wrong.
Training I bring to this
I’ve trained in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and completed EMBARK training in psychedelic facilitation – a structured approach to supporting people before, during and after psychedelic experiences. Beyond these, I keep close to the field through ongoing reading, conferences, and supervision and mentorship of my own; there isn’t a single course that covers all of this, so staying current is something I keep doing rather than something I finished.
What I don’t do
I don’t prescribe, supply, or administer a psychedelic substance or ketamine, nor do I advise on sourcing, dosing, or the legal status of any substance as part of this practice. My part is the psychological work either side of the experience itself.
If you’re looking for the experience itself
This page is about preparation and integration, not the experience itself. If that’s what you’re after, I am the co-founder of Conscious Growth where I co-run legal psilocybin retreats in the Netherlands focused explicitly on personal growth.

Ready to talk?
If this sounds like the kind of support you’re after, I offer a free initial call – a chance to say what’s bringing you, ask anything, and see whether we’re a good fit.
No obligation either way.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is psychedelic integration therapy?
It’s the work of making sense of an expanded-state experience afterwards and understanding what, if anything, you want to change because of it.
Do you provide or administer ketamine or psychedelics?
I do not do this as part of my therapeutic practice. What I offer here is preparation and integration support only. I don’t prescribe, supply or administer any substance, and I’m not present during a dosing session as part of this practice.
I already have a retreat or ceremony booked. Can you help me prepare?
Yes. Preparation sessions tend to be most useful in the weeks beforehand, once you know the format and setting.
My experience was confusing or difficult. Can integration still help?
Yes. Difficult experiences are often the ones that benefit most from integration support, not a sign that something went wrong.
Is this the same as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy?
Not quite. I’ve trained in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, but within this practice I offer preparation and integration rather than the ketamine session itself.
Do you work with people outside the Netherlands?
Yes, this is online work, so location isn’t a barrier.
