Psychological wellbeing consultancy

I organise and facilitate training and workshops for organisations and businesses online or in-person, focussed around mindfulness, mental health, trauma and psychological wellbeing. In addition, I also provide psychological wellbeing consultancy services to help better organisational cultures by improving human dynamics within the organisation.

Consultancy & training that I offer

I offer mindfulness and psychological wellbeing consultancy services to organisations and businesses, online or in-person. These primarily consist of training, group facilitation, body-focused mindful practice, psychological wellbeing strategy development and one-to-one support.

By providing individuals with better psychological resources and facilitating communication within the organisation, I help improve efficiency and work ethic within the organisation and contribute to the wellbeing of all those involved – be they employees or leaders.

Having been trained as a professional teacher and continued my education in coaching and leadership facilitation, I value the importance of addressing all learning styles. I adopt an interactive and experiential approach in workshops and training sessions I facilitate so you can have a more engaging and fruitful experience.

My experience in consultancy and facilitation of workshops and training sessions is extensive and varied. I have taught and tutored on various Master’s degree programmes and have facilitated personal and group development sessions with different organisations, including corporate settings. Multiple times I have also been involved in designing training programs for professionals or organisations.

mindfulness-Based StrEss Reduction Program

As a consultant psychotherapist, ICF-trained coach and a certified mindfulness teacher, I have extensive knowledge and experience in helping people reduce their stress levels and improve their focus. The practices I use are primarily mindfulness activities with a very strong focus on the body as research shows that this is one of the principal ways to counteract the emotional disturbance caused by over-worked minds. I have used these practices with various individuals and in different settings, including my work with firefighters and with individuals suffering from severe mental health difficulties.

I offer training sessions on psychologically themes relevant to your organisation. We will initially hold a preliminary meeting so that I gain a clear understanding of what your needs are. We will continue our exchange throughout the whole planning of the training program to ensure that it is entirely in line with the needs of your organisation.

Group facilitation​

An organisation’s culture is severely impacted by the group dynamics of the people working in it. This is particularly the case when power is involved and can often result in overtly or passively aggressive behaviour and negative relationships that have a detrimental effect on both individuals and the organisation as a whole. In view of this, I offer group facilitation to enable clearer communication, further develop listening skills, enhance people’s expression abilities and help clarify needs and expectations within the organisation.

We will hold a preliminary meeting to discuss what are the group dynamic difficulties that you’re encountering in your organisation. We will then clarify what the needs are with the aim of improving the culture within the organisation and enhance performance.

One-to-one support​

Some organisations choose to invest further in their employees and their leaders by sponsoring a number of coaching sessions when the need arises. Given that one cannot completely separate work life from personal life, difficulties in one sector often negatively impact the other, as one can see when there is a relationship breakup or the death of a loved one.

Offering a set of coaching sessions to employees or leaders in order to help them deal with the issues they are dealing with will put them in a higher functioning state that will in turn have a positive impact on their work life. As a former manager in an Employee Assistance Program at the London Fire Brigade, I can understand the demands of such a service and the delicate balance that’s needed for both the service users and the organisation’s benefit.

Psychological wellbeing strategy development

Due to the nature of their work, some organisations experience a heightened difficulty with mental health difficulties that can hinder the work of the organisation, decrease performance and nurture a negative working environment. I support these organisations by providing professional help to look closer at their employees’ and leaders’ wellbeing and understand the cost that mental health issues have for the organisation. After assessing the mental health situation of your organisation, we will hold a number of meetings to discuss a psychological wellbeing strategy that would benefit your organisation. This is a strategy that will be reviewed through both employee and leader participation.
